Puffco products are an all time favorite (and understandably so). For those who have a loved Puffco product, how's it looking? A little dirty? In need of some TLC? Don't stress. Whether you have one or are looking to make that big purchase, we understand the ins and outs that go into your Puffco glass and device. This step by step guide will help you soak up all the information you need to get your Puffco lookin' like the day you got it.
What You'll Need:
- Rubbing alcohol
- Container
- Alcohol wipes
Step 1: Sleep Mode
Before anything, make sure your Puffco device is turned off with the glass removed. Don't worry, the two will reunite soon.
Step 2: Bye Water!
If you have any water remaining in your glass attachment, go ahead and dump it out. We are going out with the old, in with the new!
Step 3: Bathtime!
Now that your glass attachment is empty, it's time for you to add some new, cleaner water. Run a warm bath for your glass and rinse until the residue is through.
Step 4: Soak it Up
Now, it's time to up the ante. Now that it's rinsed, we can go ahead and soak the glass attachment. Submerge your glass into a container using 90% (or higher) Isopropyl Alcohol. Let this sit for 20-30 minutes.
Step 5: Why Wait?
While your glass attachment is enjoying the best bath of its life, it's time to focus your attention to the Puffco base. Using alcohol wipes, cotton swabs, or even a damp paper towel, carefully clean the base.
Step 6: Bathtime Pt. 2
Times up! After the 20-30 minutes has passed, it's time to let your glass attachment breathe again. Release it from the container and rinse it once more through warm water. Do this until any excess alcohol is removed.
Step 7: Squeaky Clean!
Now, simply let your glass attachment dry. Once dry, it is finally time to reunite your glass attachment and Puffco base.
Just like that, your Puffco is lookin' brand new! We recommend you cleaning your glass attachment once a week. A clean Puffco is a happy one. When you scrub, you get the dub!
